Whitney, the band, and the background singers make a good marriage. I loved her divaship of singing offstage before arriving on stage. Yes, I would have loved for her to hold the high notes longer, but I rather she avoid them than to allow her voice to crack. Work your new voice, girl while you reach for improvement.

I wouldn't exactly call it "lazy" but unfortunately I have to agree with you, there is no way she can come here sounding like that, especially not with all of the high expectations for her "comeback". But I think that is why she is singing over seas, a less judgemental audience, so she can test the waters a bit. People saying she shouldn't step on stage until her vocals have fully recovered don't understand that Whitney needs to sing, it's beneficial to her recovery to do what she loves most.

Guys come on cut her some slack ! she has now ditch the drugs , the drink her husband and is much healthier . And by doing these shows she is being very very clever because she is preparing herself , her vocals and is getting her mind set back on peforming and is getting used to it. She sounds fine , she is not going to be like on top form is she ? but by the time of the comeback i'm sure she will be awesome :)
