So you dont know what im talking about?
And they dont look like "nazis",they are low rank officers singing a prussian war song, not a nazi or a hitlerian song,i dont know if you did your history homework, but most of hitler close friends & generals conspired against his craziest orders

No, I don't feel ashame...as a German I love this scene cause it is the fight of liberty (represented by the french hymn, la restistance, etc) against the nazi-terror... Nazi is not equal to german...especially nowadays ! Vive la libert

Though I am from ... ( 3 mois by levensregt)
Though I am from Holland (that was occupied too) I think Juliaromeo is right. Most nowadays German people are born way after wartime or were too young then. Also, wartime is a strange disregulation of civilized conscience. Wherever, whenever. Finally: No people have suffered more from Nazi terror than the Germans themselves. They became losers of an unfulfilled prophecy and did not even have the consolation of a final victory. Thumbs up for Germans that refound their pride.

Die Wacht am Rhein is not a Nazi song. It's an old German song. They sang it in the first war, and before that.

Leave it to the french. Stand up for song, but not country. How could you let the Germans storm through your country in less than six weeks, like a hot knife through butter? Stand up when it counts!

The English Channel ... ( 2 semaines by revengeofcleveland)
The English Channel (French: La Manche, "the sleeve") is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean that separates England from northern France, and joins the North Sea to the Atlantic. It is about 562 km (350 miles) long and varies in width from 240 km (150 miles) at its widest to only 34 km (21 miles) in the Strait of Dover. It is the smallest of the shallow seas around the continental shelf of Europe, covering an area of some 75,000 square kilometres (29,000 sq mi).do they teach you yanks anything?
The Siege of ... ( 2 semaines by revengeofcleveland)
The Siege of Yorktown or Battle of Yorktown in 1781 was a decisive victory by a combined assault of American forces led by General George Washington and French forces led by General Comte de Rochambeau over a British Army commanded by General Lord Cornwallis
It proved to be the ... ( 2 semaines by revengeofcleveland)
It proved to be the last major land battle of the American Revolutionary War, as the surrender of Cornwalliss army (the second major surrender of the war, the other being Burgoyne's surrender at the Battle of Saratoga) prompted the British government to eventually negotiate an end to the conflict.
I agree. The Yanks ... ( 1 semaine by SteveKaczynski)
I agree. The Yanks were an ocean away from the Germans. The French are next door. Nobody beat the Germans on land until December 1941 (the Soviets were aided by winter weather and over-extended German supply lines). The Americans did as badly as anyone else the first time they fought the Germans, at Kasserine Pass.

it would be nice if americans could at least learn a bit OF THEIR own history before they go out in the world and make complete asses of themselves they won every war single handedly my god how many of them know there were10,800 French soldiers & 29 French war ships at the Siege of Yorktown (or Battle of Yorktown) in 1781 how many know there even was such abattle?! too many burgers clogging their fat heads.
